- Brian Garvin Added 2017-09-04★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have tried to make marinara sauce like the Colander for three decades to no avail. The sauce is decadent, sweet, oily, simple and addicting. Some days I get cold sweats dreaming about it. The Colander is a no nonsense eating barn for carb hungry humans desiring the simple but charming etiquette of fast service for great food, for a reasonably fair price. Your Nonna will be jealous.
